Marcus Rashford replaces the unavailable Jadon Sancho, while youngsters Shola Shoretire and Hannibal Mejbri are on the bench for Manchester United against Chelsea.

Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has made one change to the lineup that started against Arsenal last time out for their midweek Premier League clash against Chelsea.

The said change comes in the attacking unit, where Jadon Sancho misses out due to illness. In his place, Marcus Rashford gets the nod on the left flank. The struggling academy graduate partners Cristiano Ronaldo and Anthony Elanga in the final third for Manchester United against the Blues.

There are no changes in the middle of the park as Rangnick has retained the services of Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic majorly due to a lack of options available at his disposal. The German tactician has also stuck with the same defence as Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof pair up at the centre, flanked by Alex Telles and Diogo Dalot. David de Gea continues in goal.

Youngsters like Shola Shoretire, Hannibal Mejbri, Alvaro Fernandez and Alejandro Garnacho have been named among the substitutes, along with two goalkeepers in Tom Heaton and Dean Henderson.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: De Gea, Dalot, Varane, Lindelof, Telles, McTominay, Matic, Fernandes, Elanga, Ronaldo, Rashford.
