Antonio Rudiger and Reece James return to the side, but Ruben Loftus-Cheek drops out as Chelsea get set to face Manchester United.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has made a couple of changes to the lineup that took the field against West Ham United over the weekend for their Premier League clash versus Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Both the alterations come in the defence as Trevoh Chalobah drops out of the lineup to make way for Antonio Rudiger, who has recovered completely from his injury. The German international partners captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva in the three-man backline that will shield Edouard Mendy in the Chelsea goal.

The second change sees a fully-fit Reece James return to the starting XI at right wing-back, at the expense of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who drops out to the bench. Marcos Alonso continues on the left flank for Chelsea against Manchester United while N’Golo Kante and Jorginho partner up in the middle of the park.

There are no tweaks in the attacking unit as Mason Mount continues to operate behind the front two of Kai Havertz and Timo Werner. Former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is on the bench on his return to Old Trafford.

Chelsea Starting Lineup: Mendy, Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger, James, Kante, Jorginho, Alonso, Mount, Havertz, Werner.

JUST HOPE JAMES IS PLAYING AT WING BACK TODAY AND NOT IN RIGHT SIDE OF THE CENTRE BACK. WE TRULY NEEDS HIS ATTACKING QUALITY IN THIS MATCH.
