Juan Mata, Amad Diallo and Anthony Elanga start while youngsters like Shola Shoretire and Zidane Iqbal are on the bench as Manchester United face BSC Young Boys.

Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has changed the entire starting XI from the weekend clash against Crystal Palace for their UEFA Champions League meeting versus Young Boys. The German tactician has opted to rest almost all of his regulars, naming a second-string side with youth team players on the bench.

Dean Henderson makes just his second appearance of the season in goal, where he will be protected by Eric Bailly and Nemanja Matic, who captains the team. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw have been passed fit to start at full-back.

Donny van de Beek also gets a rare start, and he will be hoping to make the most of his opportunity against the Swiss outfit. He is likely to be partnered by Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard in the middle of the park, with the latter having recovered from his recent injury trouble.

Amad Diallo makes his first start of the season in the attacking unit, where he partners Anthony Elanga, who is also starting for the first time in the ongoing campaign. Mason Greenwood completes the Manchester United lineup. Talented youngsters Shola Shoretire, Zidane Iqbal, Bjorn Hardley, Charlie Savage and Matej Kovar, have been named on the bench.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Matic, Shaw; van de Beek, Mata; Diallo, Lingard; Greenwood, Elanga.
