Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford start, but Mason Greenwood is absent from the matchday squad as Manchester United get set to face Watford.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has handed summer signing Jadon Sancho a rare start for their Premier League clash against Watford at Vicarage Road. The England international has found game-time hard to come by since his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund and will be hoping to make an impact against the Hornets starting on the right flank.

Marcus Rashford, who was not part of the starting XI in the last game against Manchester City, also features from kick-off, slotting on the left wing while Cristiano Ronaldo spearheads the Manchester United attack. Mason Greenwood, however, is absent from the matchday squad for the Red Devils, along with the injured Edinson Cavani.

Bruno Fernandes is selected as the No. 10 by Solskjaer, while Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic form the double-pivot structure in the middle of the park. Fred, meanwhile, is an option on the bench along with Donny van de Beek.

Having fielded a three-man defence in recent games, Solskjaer has reverted to a conventional four-man backline with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw starting in front of goalkeeper David de Gea. Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata are present on the bench as attacking options for Manchester United versus Watford.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Matic, Sancho, Fernandes, Rashford, Ronaldo.
