Scott McTominay and Mason Greenwood return while Jadon Sancho has been benched as Manchester United prepare to take on West Ham United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made three changes to the side that started in the 2-1 loss to BSC Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League as Manchester United get set to lock horns with West Ham United at the London Stadium. There are no shuffles in goal, with David de Gea retaining his spot again.

The first change comes in defence, with Raphael Varane replacing Victor Lindelof as Harry Maguire’s partner at the heart of the Manchester United defence. Out wide, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka retain their spots as the two full-backs.

Up ahead in midfield, the big news comes in the form of Scott McTominay’s return to fitness, with the Scottish international starting in the double pivot alongside Fred, with Donny van de Beek making way. That also means Paul Pogba continues on the left wing.

Finally, in the attacking unit, Mason Greenwood makes his return on the right flank, meaning Jadon Sancho drops out. As iterated, Pogba lines up on the left wing, with Bruno Fernandes reprising his usual no. 10 role and Cristiano Ronaldo leading the line for Manchester United against West Ham.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Pogba, Ronaldo
