Jordan Henderson is back while Harvey Elliott also starts but James Milner misses out as Liverpool get ready to take on Burnley at Anfield.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made a couple of changes to the side that defeated Norwich City last weekend as his team sets up to take on Burnley at Anfield in Matchday 2 of the 2021/22 Premier League.

Both the changes come in the midfield department as veteran star James Milner misses out with a knock. Replacing him is Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, who makes a return to the side after not being involved in any form in the opening game. The second change sees youngster Harvey Elliott get the nod ahead of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, while Naby Keita retains his place in the middle of the park.

The rest of the side remains unchanged as Alisson Becker once again mans the goal, with the backline of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Kostas Tsimikas shielding him.

In the final third, Klopp has stuck by the trio of Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane yet again, with Roberto Firmino finding himself on the bench along with new signing Ibrahima Konate as well as Andrew Robertson, who has returned from an injury.

Liverpool Confirmed XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Tsimikas, Elliott, Henderson, Keita, Salah, Jota, Mane.
