N’Golo Kante is fit to start while Timo Werner and Kai Havertz also feature as Chelsea take on Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League final.

Chelsea have welcomed back key midfielder N’Golo Kante to the starting XI for their monumental clash against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League final. The Frenchman missed the last game due to an injury but is fit and starts in midfield alongside regular partner Jorginho at Estadio Do Dragao,

Another good news comes in the form of Edouard Mendy’s availability, with the Senegalese goalkeeper recovering from his rib injury in time to get the nod for the blockbuster event. He will be shielded by the usual three-man backline of captain Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger, with Reece James and Ben Chilwell starting as the two wing-backs for Chelsea.

In the attacking department, manager Thomas Tuchel has opted to go with Mason Mount and Timo Werner as the two attacking midfielders against Manchester City, with the likes of Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi being options on the bench.

Kai Havertz gets the nod as the striker for the Blues, with Olivier Giroud providing cover from the substitutes’ bench. There is no place for Tammy Abraham in the matchday squad yet again.
