Gabriel Martinelli starts ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang while Willian and Nicolas Pepe also feature as Arsenal take on West Brom in the Premier League.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made as many as six changes to the side that started in midweek against Villarreal for the Premier League game versus West Brom at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Bernd Leno is retained in goal but there are alterations in front of him as Calum Chambers comes in for Hector Bellerin at right-back while Gabriel Magalhaes slots in as Rob Holding’s partner in place of Pablo Mari, who picked up an injury in midweek. Bukayo Saka has seemingly slotted in at left-back with Kieran Tierney dropping to the bench due to a lack of match-fitness.

Moving into the midfield unit, Thomas Partey has been given a breather by Arteta against West Brom with Dani Ceballos starting after missing the Villarreal clash due to suspension. He will have Mohamed Elneny as his partner in the middle of the park, with Martin Odegaard dropping out.

Emile Smith Rowe holds his place in the side and will have a key role to play in the final third, along with Nicolas Pepe and Willian, who comes into the side after featuring as a substitute in midweek. The big change though sees Gabriel Martinelli get the nod as the centre-forward ahead of captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who will be an option from the bench along with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Leno, Chambers, Holding, Gabriel, Saka, Ceballos, Elneny, Pepe, Smith Rowe, Willian, Martinelli.
