David de Gea comes in for Dean Henderson while Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani also start as Manchester United gear up to take on AS Roma in the UEFA Europa League.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a few notable changes to the side that played out a draw against Leeds United for their UEFA Europa League semi-final first leg against AS Roma at Old Trafford.

The first alteration comes in goal where David de Gea gets the nod over Dean Henderson as has been the norm of late for Europa League and other cup competitions. The entire back four of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw hold on to their places with Alex Telles and Eric Bailly options on the bench.

Moving into the middle of the park, it is the partnership of Scott McTominay and Fred that is preferred in the double pivot while Bruno Fernandes continues in the No. 10 role. There is a start in attack for star man Paul Pogba after being benched for the weekend Premier League encounter. The Frenchman is likely to slot in as the left-winger, with Marcus Rashford starting on the right.

Up top, there is a change as Edinson Cavani gets the nod over in-form Mason Greenwood, who will be an option from the bench for Solskjaer. Youngster Amad Diallo is also named among the substitutes.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, Rashford, Fernandes, Pogba, Cavani.
