Christian Pulisic has been left out of the side while Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner start as Chelsea get ready to take on Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has made a big decision to leave out Christian Pulisic from the starting lineup for their FA Cup semi-final clash against Manchester City at Wembley. Coming into the game, the USMNT international had been in impressive form but has been axed by the manager in favour of Hakim Ziyech.

Tuchel has made another notable change in the final third as Kai Havertz has been left out on the bench, with Timo Werner taking his place in the starting XI. The German international will form the attacking trifecta with Ziyech and Mason Mount for Chelsea against Manchester City.

No change has been made in the middle of the park given as Mateo Kovacic is ruled out with an injury. N’Golo Kante starts alongside Jorginho in the double pivot for the Blues while Reece James and Ben Chilwell are preferred to Callum Hudson-Odoi and Marcos Alonso once again in the wing-back roles.

Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger continue as the three centre-backs for Chelsea against City. There is a change in goal, however, as Kepa Arrizabalaga comes in for Edouard Mendy for the cup tie.

Chelsea Starting Lineup: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger, James, Jorginho, Kante, Chilwell, Ziyech, Werner, Mount.
