Diogo Jota comes in for Roberto Firmino while Naby Keita makes a rare start as Liverpool prepare to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final.

Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to the side that started in the 3-0 win over Arsenal in the Premier League this past weekend, as Liverpool get set to lock horns with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

There are no shuffles in goal, where Alisson Becker is the undisputed starter. The four-man defensive unit has not been tinkered with either, with Ozan Kabak and Nat Phillips continuing their partnership at the heart of the Liverpool defence, while Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold remain the full-back pairing.

The first couple of changes come in midfield, with Fabinho the only player retaining his spot, at the base of the three-man unit. Interestingly, Naby Keita makes a rare start, coming into the side in place of Thiago Alcantara whereas Georginio Wijnaldum replaces James Milner and is likely to be donning the captain’s armband for Liverpool.

Finally, in attack, the third and final change sees Diogo Jota start in place of Roberto Firmino to lead the line for Liverpool against Real Madrid. Jota will have Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane for company in the final third, with Firmino an option off the bench for Klopp.

Liverpool Starting Lineup: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum Keita, Mane, Salah, Jota
