Christian Pulisic and Andreas Christensen return as Chelsea prepare to face Sheffield United in the FA Cup quarter-final at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel has made wholesale changes to the side that started in the 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League earlier this week as Chelsea get set to play hosts to Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge for the FA Cup quarter-final.

There first shuffle comes in goal, where Edouard Mendy has been replaced by Kepa Arrizabalaga. The back three has an almost entirely new look, with Andreas Christensen fit to start after missing the midweek fixture due to illness. The Dane has Kurt Zouma and Emerson Palmieri for company, with Antonio Rudiger and captain Cesar Azpilicueta given a breather.

The wing-back pairing has a new look, with Reece James and Marcos Alonso making way for Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell. In the middle of the park, Billy Gilmour makes a rare appearance, with Mateo Kovacic being his partner in the double pivot, as N’Golo Kante has been rested.

The final shuffles come in attack, where Mason Mount starts after missing the Champions League game due to suspension. Mount, who will don the captain’s armband, replaces Timo Werner, with Christian Pulisic, making only his second start since Tuchel took charge at Chelsea and Olivier Giroud starting alongside him in the final third.

Chelsea Starting Lineup: Kepa, Zouma, Christensen, Emerson, Hudson-Odoi, Kovacic, Gilmour, Chilwell, Mount, Pulisic, Giroud
