David de Gea replaces Dean Henderson in goal while Anthony Martial and Victor Lindelof also start as Manchester United gear up to face Newcastle United.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made several alterations to the side that started in midweek against Real Sociedad for their Premier League contest against Newcastle United at Old Trafford.

The first alteration comes in goal with first-choice custodian David de Gea coming in for Dean Henderson who started in the UEFA Europa League clash. There are two more changes in defence with Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw coming in for Eric Bailly and Alex Telles respectively. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire are retained.

In the Manchester United midfield, Scott McTominay misses out with a potential injury. In his place, Nemanja Matic gets the nod alongside Fred in the double pivot against Newcastle United. Talisman Bruno Fernandes continues in the No. 10 role for the Red Devils at home.

There is one change in the attacking unit though, with Anthony Martial returning to the lineup after featuring as a sub last time out. The Frenchman replaces Mason Greenwood, who drops to the bench while Marcus Rashford and Daniel James continue out in the wide areas.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Matic, James, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial.
