Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi return, but Sadio Mane misses out due to an injury as Liverpool prepare to take on West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to the side that started in the 3-1 win over Tottenham earlier this week in the Premier League as Liverpool get set to lock horns with West Ham United at the London Stadium. There are no shuffles in goal, where Alisson Becker is the undisputed starter.

The defensive line brings about the first change in the starting lineup, with Nat Phillips coming in for the injured Joel Matip. Phillips pairs up with captain Jordan Henderson at the heart of the Liverpool defence, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson continuing as the full-back duo.

Up ahead in midfield, there is no replacing Thiago Alcantara, Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner, each of whom started last time out versus Tottenham as well. That means that Curtis Jones misses out again and will be a backup option on the bench along with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Finally, in attack, a couple of surprise changes have been made, with Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaiqiri being recalled. One of the changes, though, has been forced, with Sadio Mane unavailable due to a minor muscle injury. Roberto Firmino, however, drops to the bench, with Origi and Shaqiri starting in his stead and Mane’s. The last spot goes to Mohamed Salah, who is the only regular forward starting.

Liverpool Starting Lineup: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Henderson, Robertson, Milner, Thiago, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Salah, Origi
