Axel Tuanzebe has been handed a rare start while Anthony Martial replaces Edinson Cavani as Manchester United prepare to take on Sheffield United at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made six changes to the side that started in the FA Cup win over Liverpool as Manchester United get set to play hosts to Sheffield United at Old Trafford in the Premier League. The first shuffle comes in goal, where David de Gea starts in place of Dean Henderson.

Axel Tuanzebe is set to make a rare appearance at the heart of the Manchester United defence, with captain Harry Maguire being his partner. A second change in the defensive line sees Alex Telles coming in for Luke Shaw, who gets a well-deserved breather, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka continues in the right-back slot.

Up ahead in midfield, the in-form Paul Pogba has retained his spot in the side but has a change of partners once again. The Frenchman will have Nemanja Matic for company in the double pivot, while Bruno Fernandes replaces Donny van de Beek, coming in to reprise the no. 10 role.

Finally, in attack, the only change comes in the central striker’s position. Anthony Martial will lead the line for Manchester United against Sheffield United, with Edinson Cavani making way. Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood, though, keep their places as the two wide men.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Maguire, Telles, Matic, Pogba, Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Rashford, Martial
