Gabriel Martinelli is back into the starting lineup while Nicolas Pepe and Eddie Nketiah also feature as Arsenal face Southampton in the FA Cup fourth round.

Manager Mikel Arteta has made a host of changes to the Arsenal side that defeated Newcastle United in the Premier League last time out for their FA Cup fourth-round tie against Southampton at St. Mary’s.

There are no alterations in goal though with Bernd Leno starting. However, it is interesting to see that both Runar Alex Runarsson and January signing Mat Ryan have been named on the bench.

Rob Holding keeps his place in the lineup but will be partnered by Gabriel Magalhaes who replaces David Luiz.  Hector Bellerin comes into the side at right-back with Cedric Soares moving out to the left, as Kieran Tierney misses out of the matchday squad.

Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny pair up in the middle of the park, with Thomas Partey and Joe Willock being options from the bench. Willian starts as the No. 10, replacing Emile Smith Rowe, who is not among the substitutes.

Nicolas Pepe takes up the right-wing while Gabriel Martinelli, who has returned from a recent injury, gets the nod on the left. Eddie Nketiah spearheads the Arsenal attack against Southampton with Bukayo Saka and Alexandre Lacazette dropping to the bench. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang does not make the matchday squad.

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Leno, Bellerin, Holding, Magalhaes, Cedric, Elneny, Xhaka, Pepe, Willian, Martinelli, Nketiah.
