Scott McTominay will captain the side while Donny van de Beek and Brandon Williams start as Manchester United get ready to take on Watford in the FA Cup.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has rung in the changes to the team that started against Manchester City in midweek as Manchester United get set to face Watford int he third round of the FA Cup at Old Trafford.

Scott McTominay is one of just two players retained from the side that lost to the Cityzens. The Scotsman starts in the middle of the park and will also don the captain’s armband on the night. He will be partnered by summer signing Donny van de Beek in the midfield double pivot.

Jesse Lingard gets a rare chance to impress starting as the No. 10 for Manchester United. The England international will be flanked by Juan Mata and Daniel James while Mason Greenwood leads the attack for the Red Devils against Watford.

Brandon Williams is also handed a rare start in defence. The academy product starts at right-back while Alex Telles replaces Luke Shaw on the left. Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe pair up at the heart of the Manchester United defence against Watford. Dean Henderson is the second player to be retained in the side from the midweek fixture.

Former Watford star Odion Ighalo is on the substitutes’ bench along with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
