Dean Henderson replaces David de Gea in goal while Victor Lindelof returns to the starting XI as Manchester United get ready to take on Manchester City.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made two key changes to the Manchester United lineup that beat Aston Villa last week for their Carabao Cup semi-final against Manchester City later today.

The first alteration comes in goal where Dean Henderson replaces David de Gea as has been the trend for the Carabao Cup this season. The second change to the lineup comes in defence where Victor Lindelof has returned after missing the last couple of matches with a back issue.

The Swede replaces Eric Bailly, who had been quite impressive in the past few matches. Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw make the rest of the Manchester United defence to face Manchester City.

There are no changes made in midfield as Fred, Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba all start again. It is likely that Fred and McTominay occupy the pivot positions with Fernandes playing as the No. 10 and Pogba slotting out on the left in a 4-2-3-1 formation, although it could also be a midfield diamond.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are the two forwards for Manchester United against City, with the likes of Mason Greenwood, Daniel James, Juan Mata and Donny van de Beek providing options from the bench.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay, Fred, Rashford, Fernandes, Pogba, Martial.
