Gabriel Martinelli makes his first start of the season while Shkodran Mustafi and Gabriel Magalhaes also start as Arsenal get ready to take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has rung in the changes for his side’ Carabao Cup quarter-final contest against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

The first alteration comes in goal where Runar Alex Runarsson comes in to replace Bernd Leno for the cup tie. Gabriel Magalhaes, who is back after serving his one-match suspension returns at the heart of the Gunners backline, flanked by Shkodran Mustafi and Sead Kolasinac.

Hector Bellerin misses out once again for Arsenal as Cedric Soares and Ainsley Maitland-Niles slot in as the two wing-backs. The central midfield duo of Mohamed Elneny and Dani Ceballos remains intact for the Gunners against Manchester City.

Joe Willock comes in as the attacking midfielder for the hosts. Upfront, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ruled out, Alexandre Lacazette gets the nod, with Gabriel Martinelli partnering him. The Brazilian will be making his first start of the season, after having made his comeback with a substitute appearance against Everton.

Youngsters Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah and Folarin Bolagun are options from the bench.

Arsenal Starting Lineup: Runarsson, Mustafi, Gabriel, Kolasinac, Cedric, Ceballos, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Willock, Lacazette, Martinelli.
