David de Gea and Daniel James return but Paul Pogba is relegated to the bench as Manchester United prepare to host Leeds United at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made five changes to the side that started in the 3-2 win over Sheffield United earlier this week, as Manchester United get set to lock horns with Leeds United at Old Trafford. The first shuffle comes in goal, where David de Gea has replaced Dean Henderson.

The four-man defensive unit also witnesses a change, with Luke Shaw coming in for Alex Telles in the left-back slot. On the opposite flank, Aaron Wan-Bissaka retains his place while Victor Lindelof and captain Harry Maguire pair up at the heart of the Manchester United defence yet again.

Up ahead in midfield, the double pivot has an entirely new look, with Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic dropping to the bench. In their stead, Fred and Scott McTominay start in the middle of the park, with Donny van de Beek missing out once more.

Bruno Fernandes is unsurprisingly set to reprise the no. 10 role once again, while Marcus Rashford starts on the left wing. Anthony Martial leads the line for Manchester United against Leeds, but Mason Greenwood drops to the bench. Daniel James starts in his stead on the right wing. Meanwhile, in some good news, Edinson Cavani is fit enough to make the bench.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, McTominay, James, Bruno Fernandes, Rashford, Martial
