Mohamed Salah has been benched with Takumi Minamino replacing him while Naby Keita and Joel Matip start as Liverpool get set to take on Crystal Palace.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made a trifecta of major changes to the lineup that started in midweek against Tottenham for their league clash against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The biggest change comes in the forward line where star attacker Mohamed Salah has been dropped to the bench to give him some rest in the busy period. The Egyptian makes way for Takumi Minamino, who starts alongside Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in the Liverpool frontline.

There is a change in the middle of the park as well, where Naby Keita, who returned from injury earlier in the week, comes into the side, replacing Curtis Jones. Captain Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum hold on to their places in the side against Crystal Palace.

The final alteration comes in defence, where the fit-again Joel Matip returns to the side, replacing Rhys Williams at the heart of the Liverpool defence. The Cameroonian slots in alongside Fabinho while Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson start as the full-backs with Alisson Becker in goal.

Liverpool Starting Lineup: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Keita, Minamino, Firmino, Mane
