Christian Pulisic is not part of the matchday squad while Timo Werner and Olivier Giroud start as Chelsea get ready to take on Everton at Goodison Park.

As expected, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has rung in the changes for the game against Everton, having fielded a largely rotated side in midweek against FK Krasnodar.

Edouard Mendy returns in goal after having made way for Kepa Arrizabalaga in the Champions League clash, while the first-choice backline of Reece James, Kurt Zouma, Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell has also been completely reinstated for the game at Goodison Park.

Only one player who started in midfield against the Russian outfit is retained as Mateo Kovacic starts again. Jorginho and Billy Gilmour drop out to the bench though, making way for N’Golo Kante and Mason Mount.

The big surprise comes in attack though, as Christian Pulisic misses out of the lineup once again. In fact, the USMNT international isn’t on the bench either. Instead, the Chelsea frontline against Everton will see Kai Havertz start on the right with Timo Werner on the left as in-form striker Olivier Giroud spearheads the attack. Tino Anjorin is among the substitutes.

Chelsea Starting Lineup: Mendy, James, Zouma, Silva, Chilwell, Kovacic, Kante, Mount, Havertz, Giroud, Werner.
