Edouard Mendy will make his debut for Chelsea while Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell also start in the Carabao Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has handed new signing Edouard Mendy his debut in the Carabao Cup fourth round clash against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. The Senegalese international joined from Ligue 1 club Rennes earlier this month and comes in for Willy Caballero in goal to mark his first appearance for his new club.
Ben Chilwell will also be making his full debut for the Blues, after making a substitute appearance in the previous cup tie against Barnsley. The Englishman starts at left-back, with captain Cesar Azpilicueta replacing Reece James on the right. Fikayo Tomori and Kurt Zouma are the two centre-backs for the game against Spurs.
