Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood all start as Manchester United prepare to take on Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a raft of changes to the side that started in the Carabao Cup third round win over Luton Town as Manchester United get set to lock horns with Brighton at the Amex Stadium. The first shuffle comes in goal, with David de Gea replacing Dean Henderson.

In front of him, Manchester United line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, as expected. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire keep their places from the midweek game but Eric Bailly and Brandon Williams drop out. Maguire has Victor Lindelof as his partner at the heart of the Manchester United defence while Luke Shaw starts at left-back.

Up ahead in midfield, the post-lockdown double pivot of choice, featuring Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba has been reinstated. Matic will provide cover to the backline while Pogba will pull the strings from the middle of the park. Bruno Fernandes also returns and will reprise the no. 10 role, with Donny van de Beek a substitute.

Finally, in attack, the first-choice trio of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood have been reunited. Greenwood makes his first start of the season, starting on the right flank, with Rashford on the left. Martial will lead the line for Manchester United against Brighton.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Matic, Pogba, Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Rashford, Martial
