Marcus Rashford is back into the starting lineup for Manchester United while Paul Pogba is named on the bench for the game against Tottenham.

Manchester United welcome Marcus Rashford back into the starting lineup as they resume their 2019/20 Premier League against Tottenham Hotspur.

The England international has been out injured since January, but having fully recovered lines up on the left side of the Red Devils attack against Jose Mourinho’s men. Rashford will be partnered by Anthony Martial and Daniel James in the attacking third. Odion Ighalo and Mason Greenwood are options from the bench.

Summer signing Bruno Fernandes starts as part of a three-man midfield, although he is likely to occupy a much advanced role on the field. The 25-year-old has been electric since signing for the club in January and will be aiming to continue from where he left off.

Fernandes has Fred and Scott McTominay for company in the middle of the park. This means, Paul Pogba, who has recovered from his troublesome ankle problem, will have to wait on the bench to make his first appearance since December last year. Nemanja Matic is also among the substitutes.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opted for a four-man backline comprising of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, captain Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw. David de Gea starts between the sticks for the visitors against Tottenham.

Manchester United Confirmed XI: de Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay, Fred, Fernandes; James, Martial, Rashford
