Juan Mata returns while Phil Jones comes into the side in place of Victor Lindelof as Manchester United get set to take on Burnley at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made two changes to the side that started in the 2-0 loss to Liverpool last week as Manchester United prepare to lock horns with Burnley at Old Trafford for their latest Premier League game.

David de Gea retains his place in goal, but there is a shift in formation in front of him. Solskjaer has reverted to the 4-2-3-1 formation, with Luke Shaw dropping to the bench as a result. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams are the full-back pairing.

Harry Maguire has Phil Jones as his partner at the heart of the Manchester United defence, with Victor Lindelof missing out due to illness. Fred and Nemanja Matic partner up in the midfield double pivot, with the only other change in the starting lineup coming in attack.

Juan Mata returns to the starting lineup and will reprise the no. 10 role. Mata will be flanked by Andreas Pereira and Daniel James, with Mason Greenwood on the bench again. Anthony Martial will lead the line for Manchester United against Burnley.

Manchester United Confirmed Lineup: de Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Jones, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Matic; Pereira, Mata, James; Martial
