Hector Bellerin is back in the Arsenal starting lineup, replacing Ainsley Maitland-Niles for their Premier League away game against Chelsea.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made just one change to the team that started in the 1-1 draw against Sheffield United for their London Derby against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The alteration comes in defence where Hector Bellerin comes back into the starting lineup after a six-week layoff, replacing Ainsley Maitland-Niles. The Spaniard will captain the Arsenal team on the night.

Bernd Leno continues in goal for Arsenal, while Shkodran Mustafi starts in defence again with Sokratis failing to recover from his illness. Former Chelsea star David Luiz will be Mustafi’s partner at the centre of the backline, with Bukayo Saka filling in at left-back once again with no Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney.

Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka pair up in the centre of the park, with Matteo Guendouzi once again left out on the bench. Mesut Ozil gets the nod as the playmaker again ahead of Dani Ceballos, while Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Martinelli line up on the flanks.

Alexandre Lacazette spearheads the Arsenal attack against Chelsea, with academy product Eddie Nketiah an option for Arteta to call upon from the bench.

Arsenal Confirmed XI: Leno; Bellerin, Mustafi, Luiz, Saka; Torreira, Xhaka; Pepe, Ozil, Martinelli; Lacazette
