Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opted to bench Marcus Rashford for their FA Cup third round replay against Wolves.

Manchester United have made three changes to the side that defeated Norwich City at the weekend, for their FA Cup third round contest against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.

The biggest change comes in attack where Marcus Rashford has been benched after scoring a brace at the weekend. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems to be protecting him ahead of the big game against Liverpool at the weekend. His place is taken up by Daniel James, who did not start against Norwich.

There is another change in the attacking third, with Andreas Pereira dropping out to make way for Mason Greenwood, who slots in on the right flank, allowing Juan Mata to move into the No. 10 role. Anthony Martial spearheads the Manchester United attack.

Nemanja Matic, who is making his 100th appearance for Manchester United, partners Fred in midfield. No changes in defence, where Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Brandon Williams all feature from the get go again. There is the customary alteration in goal that comes with cup ties as Sergio Romero steps in for David de Gea.

Manchester United Confirmed XI: Romero; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Williams; Fred, Matic; Greenwood, Mata, James; Martial
