Naby Keita returns to the starting lineup as Liverpool get set to take on Sheffield United in their first match of 2020 at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp has made one change to the side that started in the narrow win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend as Liverpool prepare to play hosts to Sheffield United at Anfield.

There are no shuffles at the back, with Alisson Becker retaining his place in goal, while the quartet of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson complete the Liverpool defence. Nat Phillips, back from a loan spell with VfB Stuttgart, is a backup defensive option on the bench.

The solitary change comes in midfield, with Naby Keita coming into the side in place of Adam Lallana. Keita is accompanied by Georginio Wijnaldum and Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson. The frontline remains unchanged as well, with Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane a part of the starting lineup once again.

Yet again, the bench has a healthy mix of youth and experience, with the likes of Lallana and James Milner accompanied by Phillips, Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott.

Liverpool Starting XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson; Keita, Henderson, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane
