Frank Lampard has opted to prefer Reece James on the right side of the back four to start for Chelsea as they play hosts to Crystal Palace.

But, the defence continues to remain a problem for now. The back four for the Crystal Palace game comprises of Reece James, Fikayo Tomori, Kurt Zouma and Emerson Palmieri, with Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal.

The unavailability of midfielders sees Mason Mount drop into the midfield again. The academy ace has N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic to accompany him in the middle of the park. Willian and Tammy Abraham are usual starters for Chelsea and will be tasked with providing the creativity and chances upfront.
Christian Pulisic’s form sees him usurp other contenders to start in attack for Chelsea and complete the starting eleven. Billy Gilmour is among the options on the bench.
