Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum return to the Liverpool starting lineup as they get set to take on Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to the side that started the UEFA Champions League contest against Genk earlier this week as Liverpool prepare to lock horns with Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

Alisson starts in the Liverpool goal once again, with Adrian being the backup option on the bench. The only change at the back comes in the defensive line, with Trent Alexander-Arnold coming into the side in place of James Milner.

Alexander-Arnold will be the Liverpool right-back, with Andrew Robertson starting on the opposite flank. Joel Matip has evidently been unable to shrug off his knee complaint, meaning Dejan Lovren is Virgil van Dijk’s central defensive partner once again.

Up ahead in midfield, Fabinho is the only player who has retained his place from the midweek fixture. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita have made way for Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum. The attacking unit, meanwhile, remains unchanged, with Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane being automatic picks.

Liverpool Starting XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane
