Chelsea fans will be delighted with the team news for the Carabao Cup match against Grimsby Town. In front of a packed Stamford Bridge crowd, Frank Lampard has chosen to give senior debuts to Reece James and Marc Guehi in defence, with youth the highlight of this starting eleven.

Willy Caballero is in goal for Chelsea, with Marcos Alonso and Kurt Zouma completing the back four. In midfield, Billy Gilmour, who debuted early this season for Chelsea, will step into the starting eleven and be accompanied by Ross Barkley in what appears to be a 4-2-3-1 setup.

Christian Pulisic starts after a couple of weeks of anonymity, with Pedro and Callum Hudson-Odoi completing the attacking support trio, while Michy Batshuayi will lead the Chelsea attack.

Ian Maatsen, Jamie Cumming and Tino Anjorin are also in contention to make their senior debuts, with the young trio on the bench for the Carabao Cup match against Grimsby.
