Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has handed academy graduate Fikayo Tomori his full Premier League debut against Sheffield United.

Chelsea academy product Fikayo Tomori will be making his full Premier League debut when the Blues welcome newly-promoted Sheffield United to the Stamford Bridge. The 21-year-old, whose only appearance in the Premier League came from the bench over three years ago, will be replacing Andreas Christensen at the heart of the Chelsea defence.

There are no other changes made by Lampard to the side that defeated Norwich City 3-2 last weekend. Kepa Arrizabalaga continues between the sticks, while captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Emerson Palmieri line up as the full-backs on the right and left sides respectively. Kurt Zouma will partner Tomori at centre of the Blues’ backline against Sheffield United.

Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic form the two-man midfield pivot for the home team, with Ross Barkley slotting in the No. 10 role. New arrival Christian Pulisic holds on to his spot on the right flank, while Mason Mount, who will be looking to score in a third consecutive league game, continues on the opposite side.

Tammy Abraham spearheads the Chelsea attack after his match-winning double against Norwich City, with Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi providing options from the bench. Teenage midfielder Billy Gilmour is also named among the substitutes for Chelsea.

Chelsea Starting XI: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Tomori, Emerson; Jorginho, Kovacic; Pulisic, Barkley, Mount; Abraham.
