Real Madrid lost their second game on the spin after avoiding defeat for forty straight games. Los Blancos saw their unbeaten run snapped by Sevilla over the weekend and  were in for more misery at the hands of La Liga side Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey.

Iago Aspas and Jonny Castro scored two goals for Celta within the span of six minutes, but Real defender Marcelo managed to score. The Brazilian scored in the 69th minute and it was certainly a goal he would remember for a long time.

After receiving a pass from Toni Kroos, Real midfielder Luka Modric whipped the ball into the box with some venom hoping to find the head of Cristiano Ronaldo or Lucas Vazquez, but it was headed out of momentary danger by the Celta defence. Marcelo then ran toward the ball and volleyed it home to level things up for his side.
