Jurgen Klopp, as per the expectations of all, has decided to rest majority of the eleven that featured over the weekend while giving the youngsters and the fringe players a chance to stake their claim to be a more integral part of the first-team setup.

Lucas Leiva will captain the Reds today and Klopp will be hoping the Brazilian is able to lead the side to a win in the EFL Cup tie. Origi’s form sees him named in the starting eleven while the German manager has chosen to provide Alexander-Arnold, Stewart and Ejaria a run in against Leeds.

Garry Monk, too, has changed a bit with star strike Chris Wood on the bench along with Robert Green.
