Arsenal have sent 24-year-old Costa Rican winger Joel Campbell on a season long loan to Sporting Lisbon, and the fans are not at all pleased with this bit of business.
Campbell played an integral role for the Gunners last term, as a number of key first team players were waylaid by injury midway through the season. The 24-year-old made 30 appearances, scoring 4 goals and impressing on the right wing.
Despite this, Arsenal have recently announced that Campbell will leave on a one year loan to Sporting CP. The fans were perplexed by this decision by Wenger and co.

Gooners were also shocked that the club were willing to let Campbell go, while the likes of Theo Walcott, Yaya Sanogo and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are still at the Emirates. Many of them failed to see the logic behind the move, and unequivocally stated that the Costa Rican was surely better than Walcott.
