Arsenal have had a very quiet transfer window, but have recently been strongly linked with Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi. While some publications are reporting that it is almost a done deal, others are stating that there has been no progress in negotiations.
The Gunners have reportedly been in pursuit of the 24-year-old German defender for over a month now. On Thursday, Mustafi’s agent claimed a deal was done and only a fee was to be decided between the two clubs. However, it was later reported that the agent in question did not represent Mustafi.
