Alvaro Morata and Raphael Varane are the only two big names in Real Madrid’s starting lineup for the pre-season friendly against Chelsea FC in Michigan.

Other than the two Real Madrid academy products, the likes of Carvajal, Marcelo and Casemiro are also a few of the first team regulars who have started this game.

Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane seems to have gone with a simple 4-4-2 formation, with Casemiro and Mateo Kovacic operating from the midfield while Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio operate on the wings. Meanwhile, 22-year-old Castilla striker Mariano Diaz starts up front alongside Alvaro Morata. Here is the Real Madrid starting lineup.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has gone with a much stronger setup at the back, with the likes of Gary Cahill and captain John Terry taking up their position in the heart of the defence. Conte has gone with the 4-2-4 formation again, deploying Chelsea youngsters Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Bertrand Traore up front. Here is the Chelsea starting lineup.
