New Liverpool signing Loris Karius made his third start for the Reds against Wigan Athletic, but his glaring error almost saw Jurgen Klopp’s side concede a goal.
Karius was brought to the club for £4.7 million in May, and the 23-year-old German managed to keep his third clean sheet in a row, albeit in pre-season. However, his performance was marred by a glaring error that could have turned things around drastically for the Reds.
