Sevilla captain Jorge Andújar “Coke” Moreno’s brace in an exhilarating second half performance from Unai Emery’s men helped the Spanish side land their third consecutive Europa League trophy with victory over Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

A good start to the game from the Merseysiders was rewarded with a spectacular goal from Daniel Sturridge, who gave Liverpool the lead on the night. Both sides looked different teams altogether in the second half, however, with Sevilla equalising within 17 seconds of the second-half kick-off and continuing to dominate proceedings till the end of the game.

The experienced Europa League campaigners ended the Reds’ resistance with two Coke goals in the 64th and 70th minute respectively as Unai Emery ensured continental success once more for the Spaniards and a Champions’ League place next season to go with the success.
