Luis Suarez scored a brilliant hat-trick against Granada on Saturday to give Barcelona their 24th La Liga title.

Real Madrid went into the last La Liga game of the season just one point behind Barcelona, which meant a win for the Los Blancos and anything less for the Catalans would hand the title to Zinedine Zidane’s men.

Cristiano Ronaldo gave Real Madrid the lead against Deportivo La Coruna on the seventh minute. However, Suarez eased the Catalan nerves by putting Barcelona ahead.

From then on, it was just a matter of building on the lead and scoring, which the Uruguayan striker did, by scoring two more to complete his hat-trick. This takes Suarez’s tally to 40 goals in the La Liga, earning him the Pichichi or the highest scorer’s title in the competition. Here are the three goals that Suarez scored.
