Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals to help Real Madrid overcome Valencia 3-2 and keep their title hopes alive.

Ronaldo opened the scoring for Real Madrid in the 26th minute from out of nowhere. After Marcelo passed to him just outside the opposition penalty area, Ronaldo skipped past the two defenders in front of him and sent the keeper sprawling with a perfectly placed low shot into the corner.

Ronaldo scored the last goal too, as the match ended 3-2 in favour of Real Madrid. The La Liga title race remains open for the final match of the season with Los Blancos trailing Barca by just a point.
