Manchester City will come back with an offer closer to Liverpool FC’s valuation of Raheem Sterling and their other targets after Uefa removed its restrictions on transfers and wages imposed as part of its Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules. The Raheem Sterling saga is finally coming to a close as per reports in the the Times, with Manchester City set to beat Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea FC, andArsenal FC to the Liverpool FC winger. Manchester City had two previous bids of 30 million and 40 million GBP rejected. I Regret Rejecting Manchester United : Argentina Superstar Juan Roman Riquelme

Argentina superstar Juan Roman Riquelme has confirmed that Manchester United were eager to sign him in 2006 before Villarreal played Arsenal FC in the semi finals of the Champions League. As per reports by Mundo Deportivo, the former FC Barcelona playmaker revealed that he turned down a move from Manchester United, citing it as as his only regret of a career littered with fantastic moments. Riquelme, 37, is now retired, but during his peak, he was widely recognised as one of the most gifted Argentina players of his generation and almost single handedly carried Villarreal to the Champions League final in 2006 only for a late missed penalty. Liverpool FC In Talks To Sign Another Brazil Starlet: The Guardian

Liverpool FC are in talks with Brazil midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza from Internacional as the club looks to bolster it’s squad. The 18-year-old midfielder impressed Liverpool FC coaches during a tournament held in Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur earlier this year, when both Liverpool FC and Internatcional’s under-18s teams featured. The Guardian reports that Liverpool FC are in talks to bring the player from Porto Alegre to Anfield. The report says: Allan, as he is more succinctly known, would cost around £500,000 and represents part of a concerted effort by Liverpool to bolster their options at youth level this summer.
