Thierry Henry Retires From Professional Football; Will Appear As A Pundit For Sky Sports

Former Arsenal and Barcelona striker Thierry Henry has decided to retire from Professional football after a hugely successful career spanning close to 20 years. There was some speculation as to where Henry would play after revealing that he would leave New York Red Bulls in November, but has decided to stop playing. The 37-year old’s next journey will be as a pundit as he’ll feature alongside Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jamie Redknapp and Graeme Souness for Sky Sports football Henry stated, ”It has been an incredible journey. “I would like to thank all the fans, team-mates and individuals involved with AS Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal FC, FC Barcelona, the New York Red Bulls and of course the French national team that have made my time in the game so special. “I have had some amazing memories (mostly good!) and a wonderful experience. I hope you have enjoyed watching as much as I have enjoyed taking part. “I’ve been fortunate enough to have had an […] Read more »
