Manchester United Release Radamel Falcao, Striker Plans To Stay In England

Manchester United have confirmed the news that they will not extend Radamel Falcao’s loan deal beyond this season. The club had procured the services of  Falcao last summer on the transfer deadline day. He was brought on loan from French club AS Monaco. A lot was expected from this star striker who had a sky-high reputation before this season. Unfortunately, the Manchester United stint proved to be a nightmare for the Colombian international who just managed to score 4 goals in 29 Premier League appearances. The Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has wished Radamel Falcao success for his future endeavours speaking to the club website. He said, “Falcao is a top professional and a good human being. Can Brendan Rodgers Pull The Reverse Switcheroo?

It has been a mixed bag for Brendan Rodgers in his Liverpool career so far, and after a poor season, he faces his biggest test yet, finding solutions for complicated problems this summer. Rewind to this time last season, Liverpool had agonizingly fallen short, for the title and finished runners-up to Manchester City. Brendan Rodgers was hailed as the best thing that could happen for Liverpool, and the Northern Irishman would have loved to kick on from last season`s title assault. Raheem Sterling`s uncertain future at the club, failure to finish in the top four, Steven Gerrard`s departure from the club all adds up to his woes, and Brendan Rodgers will sure have a tough time convincing the owners that he is the right man for the job. The […] Read more »

Liverpool FC take on Stoke City in the last Premier League match of the season, which is also Steven Gerrard’s last game for the club as the talismanic captain will be joining MLS club LA Galaxy next season. Mario Balotelli is once again not available for selection as Brendan Rodgers confirmed the Italian striker will be missing (how often has the former City man been absent?). Liverpool will secure a place in next season’s Europa League group stage if they beat Stoke in what will be Steven Gerrard’s 710th and final appearance for the club. Stoke are guaranteed a top-half finish for the second season in a row and have already surpassed their highest Premier League points tally, but Mark Hughes will not want to end the season with a defeat. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers insists forward Raheem Sterling is available for selection at Stoke despite his contract row hitting the headlines again this week. His agent confirmed in the week […] Read more »
