Mesut Ozil says he’s missing playing football as he nears the end of his lengthy injury spell. Arsenal record signing Mesut Ozil is eager to return to training “as soon as possible” after missing the last 10 weeks of the campaign due to a knee injury. After an inconsistent debut campaign at the Emirates Stadium following his £42m move from Real Madrid, the German international was expected to become the leader of the team during the current season. Arsenal have agreed personal terms and convinced the parents of Polish midfielder Krystian Bielik to sign from Legia Warsaw. Arsenal are closing in on 16-year old Krystian Bielik, who is dubbed as the ‘new Patrick Vieira’, after reportedly agreeing personal terms with the player and his parents. Arsene Wenger had offered €2 million to sign the Polish midfielder. It is believed that the player’s current club, Legia Warsaw, have accepted the offer and Bielik may become an Arsenal player soon. Former Arsenal and Barcelona striker Thierry Henry has decided to retire from Professional football after a hugely successful career spanning close to 20 years. There was some speculation as to where Henry would play after revealing that he would leave New York Red Bulls in November, but has decided to stop playing.
