We provide potentially marketable betting tips for Gameweek 15 of the Premier League featuring Arsenal vs Chelsea as the Match of the Day.

The Boxing Day fixtures have been laid out in the Premier League. However, the broadcasting preferences have seen the league do away with the Boxing Day single-day gameweek and we have a normal Matchday like any other. The matchups are much more than normal though, with Leicester and Manchester United to start the Gameweek with an afternoon kick-off.

There are several key fixtures like Sheffield United hosting Everton, Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace and Fulham vs Southampton, wherein there is a clear favourite but the tides may turn in this highly competitive league. The big game on Boxing Day, though, is the London derby at the Emirates as Arsenal take on Chelsea.

Mikel Arteta’s job might just be on the line, with Arsenal facing the prospect of dropping down to 17th on the Premier League table if they lose to Chelsea on Saturday and other results don’t go their way.

Manchester City have gone five games without a loss in the 2020/21 Premier League for the first time and will hope their run of form trickles into their display against Newcastle United. Liverpool face a lowly West Bromwich Albion while Wolves host a Tottenham side looking to arrest their freefall.

Leicester vs Manchester United

It’s 2nd vs 3rd to kick the Boxing Day Gameweek off as Leicester host Manchester United. Brendan Rodgers will be wary of the imperious away form that the visitors have displayed thus far, with resilience being one of the cornerstones of most of their away wins in the 2020/21 Premier League.

Both the teams have enough quality about them to inflict some damage on the scoreboard. But, with the form United are in, it is difficult to choose any other result than a win for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer & co.

Favourable Tips

Mikel Arteta is fighting against the odds to save his Arsenal job despite reports stating that the Board is not considering a sack as of yet. Manchester City vs Newcastle United

Liverpool vs West Bromwich Albion

The Reds have done extremely well to be at the top of the Premier League table, despite the bout of injuries to key players. West Brom have failed to garner enough points to be above the drop zone and have bid Slaven Bilic adieu, with Sam Allardyce coming in to engineer a rescue mission.

Expect some sort of a bounce from the new manager and while Big Sam is known to have structure at the back, he is likely to let his boys have a run-out against Liverpool in order to assess what needs to be rectified.

Hot Ones

1. Over 4.5 Match Goals @ 3.20

Wolves vs Tottenham

But, their woeful home form might give Palace some hope. Fulham are expected to put up a brave fight against Southampton while Everton should cruise to a win against Sheffield United.

Burnley come into the game against Leeds as the team with the better form and could give some real problems. West Ham should get the better of Brighton.
