We provide potentially marketable betting tips for Gameweek 14 of the Premier League featuring Manchester United vs Leeds United as the Match of the Day.

Gameweek 14 is upon us and to everyone’s surprise, it is Liverpool who lead the Premier League table right now, thanks to a narrow win over last weekend’s leaders Tottenham. Jurgen Klopp’s Reds will be put to another test, this time at Selhurst Park as they take on a Crystal Palace side unbeaten in their last three matches.

Manchester City would hope to do better than a draw as they face a menacing Southampton side that have firmly grasped their position in top four for now. A hungry Everton side will host a free-falling Arsenal that could potentially drop down even further than 15th, depending on how the Gameweek unfolds.

Sunday is packed with action and big games as second takes on fourth, with Tottenham looking to brush aside the narrow loss to Liverpool when they host Leicester. The largest game of the weekend though, is undoubtedly the age-old rivalry between Manchester United and Leeds United being rekindled once again in top-flight football at Old Trafford.

Chelsea end the gameweek with a London derby as West Ham will look to become the second highest placed London side on the 2020/21 Premier League table with a positive result on Monday night.

Liverpool may be on top right now but Jurgen Klopp will be wary of their inability to pick up wins on the road. The current league leaders have won just one of their six away games so far and have a streak of four draws as they get ready to visit Selhurst Park.

Roy Hodgson will be licking their lips at the chance of letting his side have a run at Liverpool’s makeshift central defence and will be aware that Wilfried Zaha could pose a real threat and aid in stretching the away side’s defence. There has to be goals in this match, with an outcome tough to predict.

Favourable Tips

1. Both Teams to Score – YES @ 1.50

Hot Ones

1. Wilfried Zaha to score anytime @ 3.60

Southampton vs Manchester City

Another match that ideally, sees Manchester City be favoured, but is far from the case on Saturday. Southampton come into the game third on the table and while City have a game in hand, Pep Guardiola’s men have failed to seize the opportunities to climb the table, dropping points every now and then.

The Saints have won four of their last five home league games, having conceded just 3 goals with 4 shutouts in the process. City have found it hard to score goals this season and the accumulation of all factors gives Southampton an edge at St. Mary’s on Saturday.

Perhaps, Ralph Hasenhuttl wouldn’t be too disheartened with a point against Guardiola’s men and that could be their downfall against City.

Favourable Tips

1. Manchester City to win @ 1.50

Hot Ones

1. James Ward-Prowse to score anytime @ 4.50

Everton vs Arsenal

Two teams on the opposite side of the league table, with Everton surprisingly sitting comfortably at fifth right now. No one would have predicted that Arsenal would be lying a lowly 15th and that Mikel Arteta’s men would go on a run of six games without a win right after gathering momentum with a 1-0 victory at Old Trafford.

Arsenal have had problems finding the back of the net and with Everton starting to nip together clean sheets, things look grim for the Gunners at Goodison Park on Saturday. According to us, Arsenal would be lucky to get on the board, let alone have a real shot at winning against Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

Favourable Tips

1. Both Teams to Score – NO @ 2.10

Hot Ones

1. Everton to win @ 2.45

Tottenham vs Leicester

Jose Mourinho may have seen his side falter to Liverpool during the midweek and surrender their top spot in the Premier League. However, it was more a case of them not taking their chances than Liverpool carving out open opportunities.

Leicester also come into the match on the back of a defeat at the hands of a fellow club towards the top of the league table in the form of Everton. What is concerning for the Foxes is that they are finding it hard to get going at home. Their away form though, has been brilliant and Brendan Rodgers would hope his side’s away form can upstage Tottenham’s home record this season.

Jose Mourinho as converted their newly built stadium into a fortress and he will set his team up to counter once again. An intriguing encounter that could provide more of an insight into the credibility or legitimacy of the fortunes of these two teams.

Favourable Tips

1. Both Teams to Score – YES @ 1.66

Hot Ones

1. Son Heung-min to score anytime @ 2.62

Manchester United vs Leeds

An iconic rivalry is set to be renewed in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday and the stage is set for it to be a classic. Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds are scary due to their continuous tactical fluidity on the pitch and their unrelenting will to be on the front foot at all times.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shown he can continue to improve as a manager while producing results at the job, with his Manchester United side looking at the prospect of being second, if they win their game in hand. Leeds may be 13th on the table but their performances suggest they are unlikely to ever be a part of the relegation kerfuffle this season.

It will be a battle of wits at Old Trafford on Sunday, with Bielsa’s Leeds having to be wary of Manchester United’s changing gears at all times. Manchester United maybe the in-form team right now but their home record has been abysmal this season and Leeds will hope it continues to be so on Sunday.

This could end up being an entertaining 0-0 or 6-5, depending on the two goalkeepers and on the players the chances fall to.

Favourable Tips

1. Manchester United to win @ 1.66

Hot Ones

1. Over 4.5 Match Goals @ 3.450

Chelsea vs West Ham

West Ham have always produced the goods when paying Stamford Bridge a visit. However, Monday night will have an extra incentive. David Moyes can see his West Ham side leapfrog Chelsea and become London’s second-best side in the 2020/21 Premier League if they win.

Chelsea are without a win in their last two and it wouldn’t surprise people if they drop points against West Ham on Monday night. Jarrod Bowen has been in form for West Ham and will be key again as the Hammers look to continue their impressive start to the season.

1. Both Teams to Score – YES @ 1.70

Hot Ones

1. Full Time Result – Draw or West Ham @ 2.62

Burnley have begun their mini-runs and are currently three games unbeaten. The Clarets will prove to be troublesome for Wolves while Aston Villa should keep another clean sheet when they visit West Bromwich Albion.
