The Hard Tackle is your one-stop shop for all the profitable markets for Liverpool vs Manchester United and other Premier League games during the weekend.

The gameweek starts off with an intriguing early Saturday kickoff, featuring current champions Manchester City, who are up against Everton at home. The fixture is followed by a host of matches, the highlight of which sees Tottenham host Burnley and a potential relegation six-pointer with Newcastle United going up against Huddersfield. Fulham and West Ham round out Saturday.

Sunday starts off with a trip for Arsenal to St. Mary’s followed by a tricky away test for Chelsea at Brighton. The most awaited fixture though, is the one between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield. The two elites seem to have swapped roles recently and it will be interesting to see whether the Red Devils can still maintain their recent record against Liverpool, despite the downturn in fortunes and form.

Before we move on to the profitable markets, let us take a look at how things panned out for us in the sixteenth gameweek.

Southampton vs Arsenal

Ralph Hasenhuttl has taken over at St. Mary’s at a very tricky juncture. While it is obvious that the team will need time to settle into the new manager’s tactical plan, it is also evident that Southampton cannot afford to continue their red streak for long if they are to avoid the relegation zone by the end of the season.

Come Sunday, they face Arsenal and while there are always chances of a miraculous win in these kind of matches, especially with the fixture congestion, we are just unable to see Unai Emery’s men drop points, let alone lose the match altogether. Southampton may take some heart from their recent record at home against Arsenal. But, at most, we can see the Saints opening their goal count under the new manager.

Also, given the difference in form, the odds for an Arsenal win are just too good to avoid.

Favourable Bets

1. Arsenal to win @ 1.95

2. Over 2.5 Match Goals @ 1.61

Underdog Bets

1. Arsenal Clean Sheet – YES @ 3.40

Brighton vs Chelsea

Yes, Chelsea have put the brakes on Manchester City’s juggernaut. But, there are issues that Maurizio Sarri must resolve. The misfiring frontline needs to start working soon or they might continue to struggle to replicate their 2-0 win over Manchester City, as evidenced in the midweek 2-2 draw against Vidi FC.

Despite the number of changes, the fact that Chelsea needed two dead-ball situations to score the two goals speaks volumes of the problems that are plaguing the away side. Brighton, on the other hand, were handed a narrow 1-0 loss by Burnley. But, Chris Hughton’s side has been impressing onlookers and could return to the top half of the table with a win on Sunday.

While we would like to go for a Chelsea win, Brighton have shown they are capable of matching up to the best sides in the Premier League. We do not expect Chelsea to come away with all three points on Sunday.

Favourable Bets

1. Brighton Asian Handicap +1.5 @ 1.575

Underdog Bets

1. Brighton Clean Sheet – YES @ 6.50

Liverpool vs Manchester United

Honestly, no one would go for Manchester United on the basis of form. But, that is why United are dangerous when up against the top teams. Jose Mourinho knows how to set up his side to win, especially against Liverpool. The form goes out the window for a fixture like this.

The last three times that Manchester United have visited Anfield, they have had a cumulative of less than 10 shots on target and have come away with five points from those three matches. The same is expected from Mourinho and his men on Sunday as their tactics will be to stifle the free flowing attack of Liverpool.

We expect the fixture to end in a draw, regardless of how many goals, if any, are scored on Sunday.

Favourable Bets

1. Manchester United Asian Handicap +1.5 @ 1.575

2. Over 2.5 Match Goals @ 1.72

Underdog Bets

1. Full Time Result – Draw @ 4.50

Miscellaneous Bets

Newcastle’s upturn in form gives them a slight edge over Huddersfield. Manchester City surprisingly, have struggled to beat Everton at Etihad the last three times in the Premier League, making this an enticing encounter. Watford would be looking to snap their winless streak when they face Cardiff on Saturday.

Favourable Bets

1.  Watford to beat Cardiff @ 1.65

2. Crystal Palace vs Leicester – Both Teams to Score – YES @ 1.95

3. Wolves vs Bournemouth – Both Teams to Score – YES @ 1.75

4. Manchester City vs Everton – Everton Asian Handicap +2.5 @ 1.500

Underdog Bets

1. Newcastle to beat Huddersfield @ 3.10
