Romelu Lukaku and other stars were given a deserved rest for the League Cup fixture and they will be eager to perform again as competition for places heat up within the first-team setup at Old Trafford. United should prevail but Southampton will definitely not make it easy.

Expect goals at both ends and perhaps a more open game than we have seen either side play this season so far.

Favourable Bets

1. Manchester United to win @1.72

2. Romelu Lukaku to score anytime @2.10

3. Over 9.5 Match Corners @1.80

Underdog Bets

1. Manchester United Asian Handicap -1.5 @3.00

Stoke vs Chelsea

Stoke City have already stunned Arsenal while holding Manchester United to a draw as well. The Potters will look for a similarly inspired display when defending champions Chelsea pay a visit. The Blues are also in the initial stage of a good run and a victory here could spur them on further.

The teams that are crowned Premier League champions have always managed to grind out a point or three at Stoke and after the Arsenal result, perhaps this will be a tougher test than many imagine it to be for Conte & co.

Favourable Bets

1. Stoke City Asian Handicap +1.0 @1.80

2. Chelsea Clean Sheet – NO @1.57

Underdog Bets

1. Stoke Draw No Bet @4.00

A rematch of the midweek League Cup tie that saw Liverpool fail to win another game of football. Without a win in long, the Reds may start to get impatient. Jurgen Klopp though, knows the season is long and there is much football left to be played. A win on Saturday will surely release some of the pressure that has been mounting.

However, Craig Shakespeare’s men will not make it easy for them. Expect a very open game.

Favourable Bets

1. Both Teams to Score – YES @1.61

2. Liverpool to win @1.90

Underdog Bets

1. Correct Scoreline – Leicester 1-2 Liverpool @9.00

Arsenal vs West Brom

The Gunners have somewhat steadied the ship after a poor start to the season. A battling draw at Stamford Bridge was followed by a narrow 1-0 win over Doncaster, which is significant despite the scoreline as Wenger had never registered a win against the visitors before.

West Brom are no pushovers and have started the season well. But, Arsenal look to be getting back to being strong and a positive performance against the Baggies is what Wenger and the fans would expect.

Favourable Bets

1. West Brom Asian Handicap +1.5 @1.910

2. Alexandre Lacazette to score anytime @2.10

Underdog Bets

1. Allan Nyom to be booked @3.25

Miscellaneous Bets

Elsewhere, Tottenham are expected to come back strong from their stalemate against Swansea last weekend while Burnley could struggle against Huddersfield.

2. Everton to beat Bournemouth @1.65

3. Swansea vs Watford – Both Teams to Score – YES @1.80

4. Harry Kane to score anytime @1.80

5. Brighton vs Newcastle – Both Teams to Score – YES @2.00
